Controlled Atmosphere Environment Chamber

image

Our Plas-Labs 830-ABC glovebox can be used to prepare samples and conduct measurements in a controlled atmosphere. The attached transfer chamber maintains the required atmosphere within the main glovebox while bringing materials in or out of the glovebox. The ASD point spectrometer and goniometer setup fits within the glovebox for sample analyses. Measurements of redox-sensitive samples are possible by purging the glovebox with an inert gas and removing residual oxygen with oxygen absorbers to maintain an oxygen-free environment. While currently setup with argon for anoxic measurements, the chamber can accommodate any inert gas at standard atmospheric pressure.
