Point Spectrometer and Custom Goniometer

The ASD Fieldspec 3 acquires reflectance measurements of sample surfaces from 0.35 to 2.5 μm with spectral resolutions of 3 nm at 0.7 μm and 10 nm at 1.4 and 2.1 μm. The instrument is fully field portable.

• Contact probe attachment measures samples with an internal light source.
• 5 degree foreoptic attachment with laser sight
• A custom-built goniometer interfaces with the spectrometer’s fiber optic and permits measurements at nearly any incidence, emission, and phase angle with a spot size of < 5 mm at 0° elevation, < 11 mm at 60° elevation, and < 36 mm at 80° elevation. A halogen bulb is used as the light source.
